Many qualified nurses and midwives work in hospitals. However they can also work in a variety of settings, including community setting, e.g. as a public health nurse, mental health services, management and leadership, policy-making, teaching and research. You will rarely have two days that are the same, nursing and midwifery are dynamic professions and offer an enormous variety of challenges.
