Making an informed decision about your future career path is vital, and The Irish Times’ Higher Options Expo gives second level students the opportunity to engage with representatives from Universities, Colleges and information organisations within Ireland the UK and Europe.
This year the event will run over three days in the RDS – Dublin – from Wednesday September 21st to Friday September 23rd. There are two sessions daily. They run from 9am to 12 noon and from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
Over the course of the three days students are encouraged to gather information which can help them make informed choices about their CAO. For some it is about discovering alternative progression routes to a career of their choice. It is a great opportunity for students to ask questions and talk about different courses, and to figure out what type of higher or further education experience would suit them. As well as the exhibitors stands, there is also a full programme of talks for students, guidance counsellors, teachers and parents to attend.
