The TEFL Institute’s TY Programme Expands to 9 New Counties

The TEFL Institute of Ireland has proudly launched its Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification programme in 9 additional counties. This expansion aims to bring the many benefits of a TEFL certification to a broader audience, offering secondary school students the opportunity to teach English online, abroad, or volunteer locally. The course not only enhances communication skills and cultural awareness but deepens students’ understanding of the English language. As a trusted Guaranteed Irish company based in Waterford, The TEFL Institute of Ireland is a committed educational partner to over 25 secondary schools.

The course consists of ten engaging online modules with interactive activities, videos and quizzes. It is an ideal fit for Transition Year (TY) elective modules. It can also contribute towards earning a Gaisce award or enhancing their CV. To ensure a comprehensive learning experience, the course can be supplemented with in-class instruction from teachers.
