Since its establishment in 1970, City of Dublin FET College Whitehall has built a strong reputation for its proactive and innovative approach to education and training. Over the decades, the College has remained committed to delivering high-quality programmes that respond to the evolving needs of learners, employers, and the wider community.
Located on the historic Coláiste Caoimhín campus on St. Mobhi Road in Glasnevin, the College offers an extensive range of courses designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed for progression—whether into employment or onward to Higher Education.
Whitehall College also maintains excellent relationships with local universities and higher education institutions. Through established links schemes and direct-entry pathways, many of our learners successfully progress each year to a variety of third-level degree programmes, further enhancing their educational and career prospects.
Reputation
City of Dublin FET College Whitehall has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality courses across a wide range of disciplines, including Business, Information Technology, Social Care, Education and Training, and ESOL. In addition, we have recently expanded our provision with the introduction of two new programmes—Pre-University Law and Ophthalmic Assistant—both of which commenced in September 2025.
A course at Whitehall College offers one of the most adaptable and robust educational foundations available. The investment learners make in their future with us can yield significant rewards in terms of career success, personal development, and increased confidence.
We are committed to continual improvement. Our programmes are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they remain relevant, innovative, and responsive to changing industry needs. We place a strong emphasis on developing critical thinking, analytical frameworks, interpersonal skills, and effective communication—competencies that equip our learners for meaningful and sustained success in their future careers.
Supportive
We are committed to providing students with a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment where they are encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. Our staff work closely with learners to help them build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.
We strive to prepare every student for a bright and positive future—whether that involves progressing into the world of work or continuing to further or higher education. Our focus on guidance, encouragement, and individual support ensures that each learner feels empowered to succeed on their chosen pathway.
Sales Apprenticeship
Whitehall College is delighted to announce that, due to continued interest and strong demand, we will be offering the Sales Apprenticeship Programme for the fourth consecutive year. This two-year programme in Sales and Marketing (QQI Level 6) is delivered in a blended format, with apprentices spending approximately 85% of their time in the workplace and 15% attending workshops or engaging in online learning.
The programme is fully funded for apprentices, with no fees, and employers are eligible to receive a grant per apprentice per year. We are currently recruiting for our fourth intake, which will commence in February 2026.
