Now, SCFE is entering an exciting new era. As part of a national transformation under the Solas Further Education and Training (FET) Strategy, SCFE has rebranded as Dublin College Further Education and Training, Sallynoggin.
This change represents a commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence; to providing clearer pathways for learners and ensuring continued innovation in education and training.
Why the Change?
The rebrand is driven by Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board (DDLETB), which is uniting all its FET services under one strong identity: Dublin College. This integration brings together colleges, training centres, and adult education services to create:

• Clearer pathways and progression routes for learners
• Continued innovation aligned with future industry needs
• Best practices and cutting-edge technologies to prepare students for success
Principal Enda Kenny explains:

What Does This Mean for Students?
For learners, the transition is seamless. Courses, certifications, and the college’s welcoming ethos remain unchanged. Students who began their studies at SCFE in September 2025 will leave as graduates of Dublin College Sallynoggin, with qualifications that are nationally and internationally recognised.
