As one of our core values of our organisation, we continue to encourage and nurture children and young people’s active participation in the arts.
Take learning beyond the classroom with an exciting programme of school shows, workshops and concerts at The Civic, designed for children and young people ages 4-18.
For primary schools, our programme offers children aged 4–12 the opportunity to experience live theatre, music and dance while exploring new stories, ideas and cultures.
Highlights include an interactive journey through Irish history ‘as Gaeilge’, alongside our School Concert Series, bringing inspiring live performance experiences to young audiences.
For secondary schools, we’re excited to introduce a new pilot programme for Leaving Certificate Drama, Film & Theatre students, featuring workshops led by professional guest mentors and facilitators.
Real Learning returns with Theatre in Education workshops for 5th Year students, alongside Caith Amach É, an interactive show supporting preparation for Irish Oral exams.
We’ll also host Women in Technical Theatre workshops with The Abbey Theatre and The Lir for female students aged 14+.
