ON the shores of Lough Gill, and still only minutes from Sligo Town, St. Angela’s College, Sligo offers a wide range of undergraduate degree programmes.

A college of NUI Galway, the St. Angela’s College programmes are accredited by the University, offering the only university-level education in the region.

Academic Departments include Nursing, Health Sciences and Disability Studies (offering Nursing Degrees) Education and Home Economics (offering programmes in Home Economics Teacher Education; Nutrition, Food and Business Management).

CAO programme on offer for 2018 entry include:

• Bachelor of Applied Science with Nutrition, Food and Business Management

• Diploma of Applied Science in Nutrition, Food and Business Management (Level 7)

• Bachelor of Arts/Professional Masters (Home Economics Teacher Education)

• Bachelor of Nursing Science (General/Intellectual Disability)

Foundation Studies

The College also offers a Diploma in Foundation Studies for school leavers and mature students who wish to study at third level. Participants who successfully complete this Access Course are eligible to apply for direct entry to full-time degree courses at St. Angela’s College or NUI Galway. HEAR/DARE routes also available.
