The BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) returns to the RDS this week and is open to the public from Thursday 12th – Saturday 14th from 8:30am to 5:30pm
The BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition is much more than a competition. It is an experience of a lifetime for the second level students who take part and is Europe’s largest national Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) live event. BTYSTE unveils the incredible ability of Irish students to create and test potential solutions that address everything from everyday problems to some of the biggest, global issues in this day and age.
Students that are chosen to present their projects in the RDS will be competing for some of the 200 plus prizes that will be up for grabs across four age groups and categories. The top prize is a trophy, €7,500 in prize money and the opportunity to represent Ireland at the prestigious European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS)
